"I've never gotten over what they call stagefright. I go through it every show. I'm pretty concerned, I'm pretty much thinking about the show. I never get completely comfortable with it, and I don't let the people around me get comfortable with it, in that I remind them that it's a new crowd out there, it's a new audience, and they haven't seen us before. So it's got to be like the first time we go on."
-From a 1972 taped interview used in MGM's documentary "Elvis on Tour".

Jan du Rand, the organiser of this Festival and his TEAM at the Protea Hotel Tsitsikamma Village together with many volunteers in Storms River Village invites you to join in the spirit of this unique Festival to have some fun and dress up for this Rock and Roll Era. We are having fun organising this and would love to see you having fun too!

We are looking forward to see you at the Elvis Festival Africa, the Tsitsikamma Experience.

Our Mission Statement
  • We like to contribute to the relocation of the present crèche to a new premises and building for Storms River pre school children and to upgrade their facilities.

  • We like to involve the school children and their parents in cleaning up the village streets, to secure parking for visitors and to wash cars professionally during the festival, and thereafter, in exchange for a contribution towards their school funds.

  • We like to improve the living conditions of all of the Villagers by letting this event grow to the biggest Elvis Festival outside the USA.

  • We like to make this area, the Tsitsikamma, world renowned through this well branded event, and donate prices for the most well kept gardens in the Township and through that pride and job creation, example Township Tours.

  • 25% of the festival profits will be reinvested in the community.
